Meet Our Team
Wayne “Butch” Songy Jr – Sponsoring Broker in LA & MS, Northshore Office Manager, Agent, Property Manager
I grew up in Metairie where I attended St. Christopher Elementary School, Archbishop Rummel High School, and the University of New Orleans. In 1993, I moved to Slidell where I began a 20 year career as a teacher. During this time I coached many youth sports teams, and was involved the local Christmas Toy Collection Program.
I have been happily married for almost 29 years and have 3 children, a wonderful daughter-in-law, soon to be son-in-law and a faithful Yorkie. My entire family is active in the Slidell tennis community where we participate in charity tournaments for groups such as Make a Wish, and the Boys’ and Gils’ Club. We are active members of our church parish where my wife and I help in marriage preparation, my son has served as Youth Group director, and my daughters are on leadership and retreat committees to work with younger children. We are also a proud Tiger family as my son is a graduate and now teacher at Slidell High School and my daughters are both graduates who participated in many school clubs and activities. My son is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, and my daughters both attend SLU.
My career in real estate as a realtor and property management specialist is very exciting and rewarding. I am licensed as an agent and broker in both Louisiana and Mississippi so I can assist my clients even more. I so enjoy the many people I meet and the opportunity to help them achieve all of their real estate goals and dreams!

Wayne has such a passion for helping others live the American Dream.
Wayne Songy is President & Owner of Wayne Songy & Associates, located in Metairie behind Clearview Shopping Center, where he enjoys actively selling Real Estate. Some of his previous experience includes: For 13 years, he worked for Buccola McKenzie Realtors, then Executive Vice President for Wagner & Truax, Better Homes & Gardens – where he built his knowledge in rental & property management & for 4 years, oversaw 450 agents within the company. Both agencies were sold out to other companies, causing Wayne to start his own Company, where he has been almost 30 years!
Wayne is from New Orleans & grew up in Metairie. He went on to gain much experience by continuing his education through more programming-the GRI Graduate Realtors’ Institute), CRB (Certified Residential Broker), & CAM (Certified Apartment Manager, which was awarded by the National Apartment Association). The amazing part is less than 1% of all realtors have completed all 3 programs. Outside of this rigorous schooling, Wayne found time to be President of the Jefferson Board of Realtors, & Past District President of the Arkansas/LA District Exchange Clubs.
Fay’s sister has been Wayne’s assistant for 30 years, & actually introduced them! Wayne & Fay have been married 21 years this November. They have 2 daughters, Terri & Anita & a son to continue the family name, Wayne Jr. They are also blessed to have 10 grandchildren! They reside in Mandeville.
Wayne enjoys watching LSU and Saints Football He is involved in many family activities. Wayne’s burning desire is to always remain just as happy as he is now & wishes the same happiness for his children & grandchildren!
Wayne’s Key to Success is that he truly loves what he does. Plain & simple – the Golden Rule – he treats others, how they would want to be treated.

Born and raised in New Orleans, I attended Mt. Carmel Academy and The University of New Orleans. I moved to Slidell with my husband Wayne in 1993 and taught in the area for 29 years. I have also worked with the St. Tammany Toys for Tots program and the East St. Tammany Relay for Life.
With my husband, father-in-law, and mother all being involved in real estate, I have been around the industry for many years. Mary Salley – Agent
I love helping friends find their home. After enjoying my career with ATT/BellSouth for 30 years and then as an office administrator for TXI/TEC Minerals for 15, I thought retirement was for me. NOT! I went to work for Mitch Welch, Right Direction Realty, as his transaction coordinator, learned a lot about real estate and decided to get my license. I wish I had done this 40 years ago. I am so pleased to be able to join Mitch’s dear friend Wayne Songy as part of the Right Direction Team. With licenses in Louisiana and Mississippi I am always on the go. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. With a strong faith in Jesus I desire to share His love with others. If you are searching for a home or property, let’s do it together.

I am very excited to join the team at Wayne Songy & Associates. I am a New Orleans native and moved to Slidell in 1973 and have resided here ever since. I attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Elementary school and Pope John Paul II Catholic High School. My college experience lasted only a few semesters at UNO until I decided to follow my Dad’s footsteps with a career in Real Estate. In March of 1987, I received my real estate license. I am a third generation agent in the real estate industry dating back to when my grandfather opened his own real estate company in New Orleans in the 1940’s. Years later, his two sons joined him in the business. I am a multi-million dollar producer and have received many awards over the years.
My community involvement is something I am proud of. I have coached basketball for over 20 years volunteering my time at both SYBA and also Pope John Paul’s 8th grade team. I was also grateful to have coached my son for many years. I am very active myself enjoying sports such as running, tennis, golfing and bowling. I currently serve on the Slidell Tennis Association Board of Directors which I have been involved with for many years. I am an active parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where I serve as a Eucharistic Minister and I am also a member of the Knights of Columbus holding a Fourth Degree. David Hall- Agent
I was born in Kenner, then moved to Metairie, Jefferson, and finally Lakeview. I am a true southshore native and know the area well. I graduated from Haynes Academy and then the University of New Orleans with a B.S. in electrical engineering. My engineering background helps me to be thorough and complete when working with clients.
Renee Lebeau – Agent
As a native New Orleanian, I graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and the University of New Orleans with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Management. I began my Real Estate career after graduating from UNO, working for a commercial Real Estate development company on the Northshore. After 6 successful years on the commercial side and working part-time for the Urban Land Institute, I left my real estate career to help operate my family’s air conditioning and refrigeration business while continuing to manage my own personal real estate investments over the years.
My passion and enthusiasm for real estate never waned which led me back to pursue a full-time career in real estate in 2019. I work primarily on the residential side this time, but do still love commercial sales, leasing and property management. Negotiation is my favorite part of the process as I strive to get my client the best deal possible while being fair and honest with everyone involved in the transaction.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my fiancée, Louis, boating, travelling and doing anything fun and I have 3 amazing grown children. I love to network in the community and volunteer with the ‘Rosie Program’ with Habitat for Humanity during women’s build week.
So, if you are looking for a professional to help you find a new home or a great investment property, look no further! I have the knowledge and desire to help you find that perfect property on the Northshore and in the Southern Mississippi area.

Hello, my name is Maria Gomila, and I was born in New Orleans. I was raised on the Northshore where I later graduated from Slidell High School. After college, I moved to Texas with my growing family, where we redid our first home. In 2004, I moved back to the Northshore and began another journey renovating and remodeling a home for my family. It was through these two renovations that I realized how much I loved real estate. From there, I earned my real estate license and have enjoyed helping others encompass their vision in buying their dream home.

I was born in Baton Rouge and raised in Morrisville, LA. I graduated from Plaquemine High School, and after graduating, I started my Army career. Over the next fifteen years, I was stationed in many places in the United States and overseas, which gave me opportunities to see many amazing places like Europe, South Korea, and Japan. While working on my Bachelor’s degree, I worked as a Mortgage Finance Officer in Clarksville, TN. Through this job, I learned that I had a passion for real estate. After graduating with my master’s degree in Managing Information Systems, I worked for the Department of the Interior (Indian Affairs) in Nashville, TN, the National Finance Center in New Orleans, LA, and the Department of Veterans Affairs in Murfreesboro, TN. I am blessed with two amazing daughters, and after recently retiring, I began to pursue my career in real estate. I hope to work with you in finding your dream home!
Frank Martino – Agent
I am excited to help you find that perfect home!
I’ve moved around the country a bit and remember the thrill and stress of purchasing each home. I’m here to keep that “thrill” in you and help take the stress away by being by your side every step of the way in your home buying or selling process.
I’m originally from Detroit, Michigan (don’t hold that against me). I attended Western Michigan University and obtained a BS in Aviation Management. I’ve lived in San Antonio, Dallas, Colorado Springs, and Columbus, Ohio before settling down in Mandeville 14 years ago. I worked for American Airlines for 30 years – then retired. Started a medical billing business – then retired. Apparently, retirement has many different looks. Now on to the third chapter – real estate. I’ve always loved the excitement and enjoyment of exploring new properties and helping people obtain their goal of home ownership.
I’ve known my husband for 23 years, and we were married in Maui 7 years ago. No kids, no dogs, just an airplane that I love to fly, and what a unique perspective to be able to take you up to see your new neighborhood. I look forward to working with you on our journey to find that house you can call home.
Jennifer Officer – Agent
I grew up on the Westbank, and I have fond memories of the many New Orleans institutions that “ain’t dere no more.” Fast forward to 2007- I relocated to the Northshore and found serenity in the area of Lacombe. I have an amazing son, Clifton, who is my entire world and my greatest gift from God. We have two dogs, a Pug named Coco and an English Bulldog named Cardi-May. I enjoy rollerskating and trampoline jumping with Clifton, but I work out and exercise to keep up with my energetic son.
